OUR WORSHIP GATHERING

Sunday mornings Emmaus Road gathers at 10am in Hazelwood Elementary School located at 7100 116th Ave SE Newcastle, WA 98056. Our Sunday morning gatherings are about re-centering our lives on the good news of God's grace revealed in Jesus.

We come together to read the Bible and rejoice in its life changing message. Every Sunday we listen to the Scripture preached and proclaimed as it truly is, the word of God. We rejoice in the relevance of this unchanging text in today's changing world. Right now on Sundays Emmaus Road is beginning a series of talks called "Fight The Bull - Clinging to God in the secular world. "

Come join usfor this important topic.

There is no dress code, so come just as you are. The setting is relaxed and friendly. Each Sunday includes a message from the Christian scriptures, and live music from our worship band.

FOR KIDS ON SUNDAYS

For kids we have a dynamic program each Sunday in the adjacent gym with age appropriate classes from babies and on up to 5th graders. Each week qualified teachers spend time teaching kids the amazing story of the Bible and God's unfailing love for us. There are snacks as well as hands on activities and games all related to the message.

Emmaus Road is a diverse group of people who love Jesus and who have been changed by his grace. If you have never been part of a church before, or if you are looking for a church to call your home, then please consider coming to visit this Sunday.

Emmaus Road is not a typical church. Instead, we are a church-planting-church. We are happy to be part of the Acts29 Church Planting Network (www.acts29network.org)   This means that we give our time, money and people to start other churches both locally and internationally so that more and more people can hear the good news of God's grace.

We see ourselves as a sent people, sent to embody and proclaim the message of this new life to our co-workers and neighbors. On our own we are not up to such a task. But God helps us through his Spirit and by his grace. We are not perfect and we don't pretend to be. Hopefully you can come see for yourself what we mean when we say, "Come join us on this journey!"
