
~Emmaus Road Church began gathering on Sundays in the Fall of 2006. We met in the living room of a local Newcastle family.

~Jesus Restored people to wholeness and so we do too. Here we are in the Commons of Hazelwood Elementary School preparing sack lunches to hand deliver to the homeless men and women on Seattle's streets.

~Two Newcastle homes were hit hard by a winter windstorm uprooting their trees and destroying their fences. Emmaus Road partnered with Newcastle Rotary to dig out the stumps and rebuild the fences. Jesus said the second most important commandment is to, "Love your neighbor."

~One of our bands hosted "Worship in the Square" at SPU. It was an amazing evening for local college students from Seattle Pacific University to sing the praises of Jesus and meditate on the good news.

~Pastor Rich has the honor of baptizing Dan in Lake Washington to publicly show that Jesus is his Lord and Savior.

~Emmaus Road celebrates our 2nd Birthday as a church October 2008.

~Ellie, Kenric and Steph dig a really large french drain with Habitat for Humanity (notice them laugh at Matt because they think painting is for sissies :)
~Scott, Steph, Steve, Eric and Gabe lead musical worship for Emmaus Road in Hazelwood Elementary School

-Brent vacuums the classrooms in Hazelwood Elementary as part of the Jubilee Day of Service. Emmaus Road Church volunteered to help the teachers get their classrooms ready for school.
