Life is a team sport. Emmaus Road is a church that gathers Sundays and throughout the week.

SUNDAYS: Every Sunday we gather together to celebrate the grace of God that has already broken through into our world in the life death and resurrection of Jesus. We sing with the help of our musicians, we listen to teaching and preaching from the Bible, we respond by taking communion, giving, singing and praying for one another.

This happens every week and is a great way to connect to God and to others. This weekend our our large gathering is in Hazelwood Elementary School in Newcastle on Saturday Night at 5pm.

We will resume our Sunday morning gatherings on Sunday January 1st at 10am.

DURING THE WEEK: As great as Sundays are, we believe they are just part of how we connect. To truly live out the Christian life we also gather in homes throughout the week in Gospel Communities. The purpose of our Gospel Communities is to encourage each other and to work the gospel out in our everyday lives.

We are about to launch new gospel communities for the new year so check back here soon to hear more.

We believe that by gathering on Sundays and gathering in homes that we are most aligned with the Christian community we find in the book of Acts and most effective in our mission to share the good news with the people of the Eastside.
