Life is a team sport. Emmaus Road is a church with two primary ways to connect to others.
Sunday Service (LARGE GATHERING): Every Sunday we gather together to celebrate the grace of God that has already broken through into our world in the life death and resurrection of Jesus. We sing with the help of our bands, we listen to teaching and preaching from the Bible, we respond by taking communion, giving of our tithes and offerings and praying for one another.
This happens every week and is a great way to connect to God and to others.
Gospel Communities (SMALL GATHERINGS): As great as Sundays are we believe they are just part of how we connect. To truly live out the Christian life we also gather in homes throughout the week in Gospel Communities. The purpose of our Gospel Communities is to encourage each other in the Gospel and to mix Jesus into our neighborhoods and workplaces through word and deed.
Currently we have a Gospel Community meeting somewhere almost every night of the week. Click Here to read more about when and where these meet.
We believe that by gathering on Sundays and gathering in homes that we are most aligned with the Christian community we find in the book of Acts and most effective in our mission to share the good news with the people of the Eastside.
Mix Jesus In
"he told them still another parable, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.'" Matthew 13:33|
